Private Hire Vehicle Licence

Every vehicle in our network operates under a valid Transport for London Private Hire Vehicle licence or an equivalent licence issued by the relevant local authority for journeys outside Greater London. Using an unlicensed vehicle is illegal under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976. We take this seriously — no vehicle joins our network without a current, verifiable PHV licence. Before a driver carries a single passenger, we verify that they hold a current Private Hire Driver licence issued by TfL or the appropriate local licensing authority. Airport Route Familiarisation

Drivers assigned to airport routes are specifically briefed on terminal layouts, correct private hire entrances, arrivals hall meeting points, and drop-off zone procedures at each major UK airport. This matters: the private hire set-down at Heathrow Terminal 5, the arrivals meeting point at Gatwick South, and the approach to Manchester T3 are all distinct. A driver relying solely on a sat-nav for their first airport run is not the standard we operate to.

Your driver monitors your inbound flight using live flight tracking from the moment it departs the origin airport. If the landing time shifts — whether the flight lands early, late, or is diverted — your driver adjusts their arrival time accordingly and keeps you informed. Forty-five minutes of free waiting is included from the actual landing time. Beyond 45 minutes, extended waiting is charged at a modest hourly rate that is disclosed in your booking confirmation before you pay. You are never charged for delays caused by air traffic control, weather, or circumstances outside your control during the first 45 minutes.

No. A 3 AM pickup for a 5:30 AM Heathrow departure costs exactly the same as a midday transfer on the same route. We do not apply overnight surcharges, unsocial hours premiums, public holiday additions, or weekend uplifts of any kind. The fare confirmed at booking is the fare that applies regardless of the time you are collected. This is one of the most meaningful differences between a pre-booked fixed-price service and an app-based platform, where surge pricing during early morning peak demand can double the displayed fare from the night before.
